Pre-sale check

Mechanism check before anything leaves.

Moving parts are checked before a set leaves, in Akron or on a truck to another state.

  1. 01

    Bar sleeves and collars

The sleeve is rotated by hand. A collar that will not seat keeps the bar off the ready list.

  2. 02

    Rack hardware

Uprights, bolt threads, and J-cups are checked. A commercial rack gets the same pass as a garage rack.

  3. 03

    Benches

Frame joints, pad bolts, and pins are checked so the bench does not shift. A rocking pad stays until the hardware is tight.

  4. 04

    Bicycles

Brakes, shift, and wheel tension are reviewed before a bike is released. A soft brake does not leave with a sold tag.

Services

What the Akron counter sells.

01

Professional strength equipment

Bars, plates, racks, and benches are sold for daily loading. Sleeve spin, upright hardware, and bench pins are checked at Parkview Ave before release.

Home buyers and commercial floors order the same iron, under the same check.

02

Home and commercial inventory

A garage and a multi-station room need different rack depth and plate storage. Headcount, bar clearance, and a bell bay all change the list.

Commercial orders can be staged so the uprights arrive first.

03

Sporting goods and bicycles

Bicycles and sporting goods share the Parkview floor with the racks. Brakes, drivetrain, and wheels are checked before a bike is sold.

A training corner and a bike can be settled in one visit.

04

Fitness-zone consultations

Bring ceiling height, bay width, and how many people train. Scott Overholt places the rack, the plate tree, and the space a loaded bar needs.

You leave with a piece list for that room, not gear the bay cannot hold.

05

Delivery across the United States

Orders ship from Akron to street addresses in the United States. Long bars and bikes go with a carrier that can take their length; smaller goods go parcel.

Akron buyers can collect from the counter after inspection. Send the ship-to ZIP first.

Fit-out

Four measures before a room is fitted.

Send these four numbers with the request. The reply names only equipment the room can hold.

Ceiling
A low garage ceiling rules out a tall upright.
Width
A narrow bay holds one rack and a bench, not a second station.
Depth
Short depth moves plate storage off the back wall so a bar can still load.
Headcount
One home lifter and a commercial floor are different orders.

Questions

From the Parkview counter.

Before you send a room measurement or a ship-to ZIP.

Do bikes get the same inspection as bars?

Bars are checked at the sleeve and collar. Bikes are checked at the brakes, drivetrain, and wheels. A fail stays in the shop.

Can a commercial gym order from here?

Yes. Start with station count, ceiling height, and aisle width, then racks, bars, and storage. Pieces can arrive in installation order.

What should a fit-out note include?

Length, width, ceiling, headcount, and whether a bike shares the room. A photo of the empty bay helps. The reply is a piece list for those numbers.
